THE RACKING firm installed the 52,000 racks in 16 weeks at the new warehouse. The project consisted of the installation of the AR PAL Conventional Pallet Racking system.

This storage system provides 52,000 positions, allowing Boughey Distribution to efficiently manage a large volume of products. The design includes specific features that maximise warehouse functionality, such as an upper level height of 14.7 metres and wide aisles for easy access and maneuverability. In addition, the warehouse operates in ambient conditions and has been equipped with an integrated sprinkler and lighting system, which increases both safety and energy efficiency.

Boughey Distribution, with over six decades of experience in the logistics sector, has entrusted AR Racking to deliver this crucial on-going growth project. Danny Earp and Frank Murphy supervised the development of the project, ensuring that all the client's expectations and needs were met. On behalf of AR Racking, Mike Smyth led the project, working closely with the engineering team at Boughey and the AR Direct Project team to ensure a successful outcome.
