THE SITE known as Oncology House was previously occupied by a Seimens Healthineers cancer care company Varian Medical Systems which vacated the property in 2023 relocating elsewhere in Crawley having reorganized and stopped manufacturing.
Hathaway which has teamed up with an as yet unidentified private investor is expected to shortly submit plans for a 110,000 ft2 multi let logistics terrace on the site located on the junction of Gatwick Road and Crawley Avenue in the Manor Royal business district.
Hathaway has already secured a self storage pre-let on the scheme and completion subject to planning is expected in 2026.
CBRE was marketing the site for Varian. Haslams advised Hathaway on the acquisition.
