Fresh produce stays chilled

08 October 2019

Bolton based BID Group was recently engaged to install Klimate high speed doors for one of the North West’s leading fresh produce suppliers based in Wigan.

The Klimate doors help to control the indoor chilled environment at the site, where fresh produce is packed and stored to the high standards expected by retailers.

Stephen Sutton, technical sales manager for Klimate says: “Klimate high speed doors are the ideal solution for areas concerned about climate control and hygiene such as food factories. Not only do the doors provide valuable energy savings by maintaining room temperature, but also reduce contamination and the ingress of vermin. The working environment is also improved by controlling the flow of traffic and the reduction of noise levels. Site were not only happy with the new doors, but also praised the installation team who completed the job on schedule with minor disruption to warehouse operations.”

All Klimate doors are characterised by their low maintenance technology and low repair costs and with Klimate being a UK manufacturer, customers have immediate access to replacement component parts, especially for those doors that are under high usage and reliability is key.

Each Klimate door is tailor-made to suit the site requirements and the environment the door is to operate in.
