PLANNERS gave the scheme the thumbs up on 19th November for the demolition and redevelopment of the 1.97 acre Old bath Road site which is known as the Colnbrook Recycling Facility.
The new scheme will see the development of a 41,851 ft2 building that will include 35,457 ft2 of warehouse space with 50kn/m2 floor loading, and 6,394 ft2 of first floor offices. It will have a 35m yard, 11m eaves as well as one Euro dock, one dock and three level access doors.
It will be built to achieve BREEAM Outstanding and an EPC A rating. A wellbeing area has been incorporated, again close to the building entrance, to enhance the health and wellbeing of all those who will be working and visiting the new development.
It is located within two miles of Junction 15 of the M25 motorway and Junction 4B of the M4 motorway.
Joint letting agents are JLL and Logix Property.
