Another Knights of Old warehouse sold

Another warehouse formerly owned and occupied by the now defunct Knights of Old 3PL has been sold.

THE BUILDING on Kettering Road, Islip, in Northamptonshire, was on the market for a reported £6.5 million and has been acquired by as as yet unnamed buyer. It consists of a 143,818 ft2 comples of three interconnected warehouses, two office configurations, a large steel portal-framed canopy, and additional undeveloped land.
Property agency Lambert Smith Hampton acted on behalf of the joint administrators, Rajnesh Mittal and Nathan Jones of FRP Advisory.
KNP Logistics Group, collapsed last year, after it ran into financial difficulties after a ransomware ‘cyber-attack’ with the loss of some 730 jobs. KNP Logistics Group, was formed in 2016 following the merger of Knights of Old with Derby-based Nelson Distribution, and went into administration in November 2023.
Lambert Smith Hampton director Richard Durkin, said: "Following an all-encompassing marketing campaign which resulted in significant interest, we were able to select a party in order to take the transaction forward which resulted in a positive outcome for our client."
