THE PROPERTY has been let on a ten year lease to Aerospheres, a leading supplier of consumables to the aviation industry,
DC9 is one of the units currently under construction as part of the expansion at the Park and will serve as the new operational hub for the business, supporting its mission to supply aviation products globally.
The site’s proximity to London's major airports was a key factor in Aerospheres’ decision to relocate its operations and the new facility will enable the business to adopt cutting-edge new process and technologies, acting as a Centre of Excellence and flagship for innovation and automation.
The scheme has achieved both EPC A+ and BREEAM Outstanding ratings and features flexible mezzanine spaces, outdoor terraces that are directly accessible from first floor offices and well-appointed external amenity spaces.
Aerospheres CEO Paul Thompson, said: “This building will provide us with the capacity we need to expand our operations and continue to provide our customers with the highest level of service.”
DC9 will provide 74,941 ft2 of space and will boast 12.5m eaves, seven dock and two level access doors, as well as a 40m yard.
Joint agents o the scheme are Adroit Real Estate, CBRE and Brasier Freeth.
