Reach truck to the fore for Manitou

Leading materials handling equipment manufacturer Manitou will exhibit at IMHX 2019, and will feature four machines from its extensive range of equipment on its stand.

The new ER16 electric reach truck will take pride of place on the stand. With a rated capacity of 1,600kg, to 8 metres, the ER16 is designed for daily work in highly productive, busy, environments. The compact ER16 (1.23m long x 2.2m wide) is designed to work in aisles from 2.6 metres. The ER16’s excellent drive and lift performance delivers efficient order picking and the integrated ‘S3 pack’ assures safety by automatically monitoring and controlling the machine’s drive and lift speeds depending on the mast tilt and position. The ER range comprises of 6 models with rated capacities from 1,200 to 2,000kg.

A Manitou ME315, 1,500kg lift capacity will also be exhibited. Available with a wide range of masts from 2.7 to 6.5 metres lift heights the ME315 is powered by a 48V, 460Ah battery. A third electric machine will also be on show in the form of an EP15, 1,500kg lift capacity electric pallet truck.

The final machine to be displayed at IMHX by Manitou is one of their range of diesel powered masted forklifts. The MI25D forklift is designed to handle loads of up to 2,500kg on solid surfaces. Powered by a 35kW Yanmar diesel engine, and with a simple and robust design, the MI25D ensures a quick return on investment, easy maintenance and enhanced longevity. It comes equipped with a duplex mast as standard, with optional masts available with lift heights from 3.3 to 6.5 metres.
