Service and maintenance offering strengthened

05 March 2023

A SEVEN-FIGURE investment by industrial door specialists, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, has boosted the firm’s offering for 2023, enabling industrial businesses nationwide to access best-in-class service and maintenance.

The investment includes upgrades to the maintenance fleet, with dozens of dedicated maintenance vehicles on the road. Each fully kitted out with specialist tools, 2,000 of the most common spares and a scissor lift, every engineer has the equipment on hand to deliver the highest levels of service and maintenance, keeping industrial doors operating smoothly and efficiently.

A new Spare Parts Centre has also been established as part of the investment, ensuring original manufactured parts are readily available for all types and brands of industrial doors.

“Our investment demonstrates our ambitions as a business, not just to strengthen our services and capabilities, but to deliver the very best products, solutions and support to each of our customers nationwide,” says Tracey Owen of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. “As well as investing in upgrades to our fleet and opening a leading parts centre, we have also invested in our people and have built the industry’s largest team of skilled engineers who deliver our service and maintenance programmes for customers across the UK.

“By strengthening this part of our business, we are helping our customers to get the most out of their industrial doors and entrance systems by improving their operational efficiency and even lengthening their service life. In turn, businesses can realise tangible benefits, from improved safety and productivity, through to heightened energy efficiency and even financial savings.”

Responsible for servicing more than 29,000 industrial door and docking systems every year, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems has developed a flexible service and maintenance programme which includes planned and reactive maintenance to suit the needs of every industrial business. Specialist engineers can also modernise and upgrade systems as required, minimising disruption for businesses and keeping operations moving smoothly.
