THE DEVELOPER wishes to build a spine road through the scheme extending from its 300,000 ft2 first phase development and produce a further five development plateaus with supporting utilities and landscaping.
The Phase 2 site extends to some 109.14 acres and the plateaus could accommodate a further 1.076 million ft2 of industrial and logistics space.
The developer ‘seeks to facilitate the construction of the site infrastructure to make the outline area ‘oven ready’ for development so it can respond to any occupier interest quickly. Subsequent reserved matters submissions for built development would thereafter be submitted to align with prospective occupier requirements.
The developer secured hybrid planning for the scheme in 2021 after being called in by the Secretary of State.
