Windsor takes on heavy duty Italian trucks with port handling an emphasis
29 September 2024
Windsor Materials Handling has signed a deal to become the UK official distributor for CVS Ferrari, a specialist in high-capacity forklifts and container handling equipment.
THE PARTNERSHIP is aligned with Windsor’s strategic commitment to strengthening its core product offering through trusted, structured collaborations and enables the firm to drive forward with its growth into the ports and terminals sector.
The integration of CVS Ferrari’s advanced product portfolio, including modern, energy-saving reach stackers and heavy-duty forklifts with capacities from 20 to 48 tons, as well as innovative diesel-electric-hybrid and fully electric container handlers, enhances Windsor’s already comprehensive offering. This partnership will allow Windsor to provide customers with state-of-the-art equipment that meets the highest industry standards.
Windsor managing director Stephen Burton says: “The recent appointment of Alex Beddow as ports and terminals specialist will help us support growth plans within a sector we already have a good foothold in. Alex brings over 30 years of industry expertise to Windsor, including 10 years leading sales activity in the Ports and Terminals division at Kalmar. Alex’s deep industry knowledge and experience in port-specific challenges make him a vital asset to Windsor, enabling us to deliver tailored solutions for this specialist sector.
“At Windsor, we are committed to continuing our legacy of exceptional service and expanding our capabilities. This partnership with CVS Ferrari marks an exciting new chapter, combining our extensive industry experience with cutting-edge technology to drive innovation and excellence in materials handling.”
