Designed with safety in mind

Suffolk-based Nexen has designed its latest X-Range of counterbalanced forklift trucks with health and safety considerations taking as much priority as reliability and performance.

All models have a spacious, fully floating and vibration isolated driver's cell with adjustable suspension seat and steering column.

In addition, a strong overhead guard, fully isolated from the chassis, is said to ensure maximum protection, while driver fatigue is minimised thanks partly to low noise levels.

Optimal versions of the X-Range feature DPS, a driver presence sensing system, which automatically locks off all hydraulic functions and drive to the transmission if the operator leaves his seat.
