Engineering Services provides a high quality, reliable
and tailored solution to meet demands in a
challenging economic environment.
Lift & Engineering Services was formed in 1982 to fill a niche within the lift industry for bespoke, heavy-duty solutions. In 1985, the company became a private limited company and took the first steps on a successful and continuing expansion programme by moving to larger premises, with heavy investment in the latest machinery & technology.
In 2004, the firm merged two locations to create a 25,000 square foot site in Cradley Heath, Birmingham, which contains the head office and manufacturing facilities.
Over the past two years, the business has again expanded with two further service branches in Stafford and Leicester opening.
This allows the company to be closer to customers and further improve the level of service provided.
Understanding needs Lift & Engineering Services emphasises a high quality service, which involves understanding client needs and providing a high quality, reliable and tailored solution that meets with the client's requirements in today's demanding environment. The business is based on forming long term partnerships with customers including local authorities, housing associations, consultants and large retail customers.
By providing equipment readily available within the UK market to all lift trades, and providing 'open protocol' systems, means that the equipment can be repaired and serviced by any recognised and approved lift company, thereby enabling the customer to achieve the most competitive costs for maintenance on the lifts.
Service division The company's after sales service is delivered by service branches located in Birmingham, Leicester and Stafford.
These provide: 24/7, 365 day cover.
Fully manned 24 hour call out service managed by help desk.
Local field-based engineers.
Bespoke service contracts designed to meet specific requirements.
Digital pen technology providing a quicker response on day to day issues.
All service vans fitted with tracker technology to ensure the nearest engineer attends the call in the event of a breakdown.
The company adds: "We continue to maintain the belief that people make the difference. Our customer-focused spirit continues today with the same level of passion found throughout the whole of our business." Further information can also be found at www.lift-engineering.co.uk
