Super-compact power supply

Power supply manufacturer PULS UK has announced the launch of its latest Q-series unit. The supercompact QT 40 measures only 110 x 124 x 127mm and weighs just 1.5kg, which is said to make it the smallest 40Amp, 3-phase power supply on the market. Two versions are available, 24V 40A and 48V 20A, both delivering 960W with 95.3% efficiency.

The QT 40's high performance has been achieved by using three microcontrollers to maintain optimum efficiency at all levels of load. This efficiency also makes power sharing easy by allowing multiple units to be mounted side-by-side on the DIN Rail without the need for fan cooling.

The QT 40 is suited to industrial bulk power applications such as control systems for large electric motors powering production equipment, conveyors, machine tools, etc.
