Beating the cold

Leeds-based logistics company, Bedfords, refused to let the recent cold snap affect its schedule.

Bedfords is contracted, through Associated Newspapers to deliver The Daily Mail to wholesalers, ready for delivery into individual newsagents. The firm successfully delivered into every wholesaler each day without fail - over 600 daily deliveries through the worst of the weather.

Colin Duke of The Daily Mail said: "In short, our haulier and its partners have performed minor miracles in reaching their destinations without fuss or complaint."
