The Revolution Fan from Caljan
Rite-Hite helps reduce energy used to
heat and cool facilities, whilst also
improving the quality of the work
environment.
One company to have benefited is skylight producer, Ubbink, which has replaced three high-speed ceiling fans with just one High Volume/Low Speed Revolution Fan at its warehouse facility in the Netherlands.
The 4.88m diameter fan keeps the temperature consistent in an area of around 30 x 20m, even in the corners.
Draughts are avoided as the air is destratified to keep temperatures consistent from floor to ceiling.
The Revolution Fan, which uses universal steel mounting brackets, is simple to install. The mounting system includes a beam clamp and four stabilising cables from the motor housing to the ceiling. These limit vibration and enhance safety.
