New Tempro Back-Stop insulated
door curtains from Seymour
Manufacturing are reported to be
the first insulated cold stop device
designed to save energy loss from the
back of a chilled or frozen vehicle.
Simple to fit, driver friendly and economical to buy, the curtains are available either as an option for new trailers or trucks, or can be retrofitted to existing vehicles.
It is claimed that substantial energy and fuel savings can be achieved when using the curtains - the flexibility and simple functionality of the system provides easy access during loading and unloading whilst still retaining the required temperature with the vehicle rear doors open.
The Tempro Back Stop insulated door curtains are based on SMI's successful Cold Stop curtains, originally developed for supermarket cold rooms and freezers.
