Injection moulded

Specialist in quality hand protection, Polyco, will unveil its new glove at IMHX 2013. Visitors to Stand 17R93 will be able to learn how cutting edge technology has been used to develop the new Mad Grip range.

Mad Grip incorporates a ground breaking manufacturing technique using an injection moulding process.

The Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) used in the process is made up of a combination of plastic and rubber; this is heated to a liquid form and injected at high pressure into a mould cavity containing the glove liner.

The ergonomically designed mould incorporates pre-curved palm and finger construction and provides a comfortable and natural fit, giving extra flexibility in areas where it is needed most.
