Euro player makes bid for lucrative UK automation market

Robotics firm AWL has launched its ROSI and RODE solutions to the UK market.
ROSI IS designed to pick, sort, induct and singulate. Equipped with AI-based vision technology, ROSI is capable of adapting to scope and managing unpredictable situations rapidly. It is said to achieve up to 1,800 picks per hour and a singulation accuracy of up to 99.9%.
RODE is a robotic depalletiser purpose-built to handle random-mixed packages. This solution can automatically unstack packaged goods such as bags, totes and boxes from pallets.
AWL’s director strategy & development Arjen Vos, said: “Many of our clients have experienced difficulties with regards to staffing shortages, but by implementing AWL’s robotic technologies into their logistics processes, they have been able to gain an advantage over their competitors.”
