Pre-site safety

According to Dexion, even before products are sent to site, warehouse safety needs to be a priority and the design of a new warehouse layout should be created by an expert who can conduct a full CDM (Construction, Design & Management) review of the design taking into account the latest regulations before it is even submitted to the customer.

Dexion reviews all drawings prior to being sent out, ensuring that they adhere to the SEMA and FEM codes of practice for the design of adjustable pallet racking or low/high rise static steel shelving.

Products need to manufactured in accordance with the European Norm EN15512:2009 – Principles for structural design of steel static storage systems and adjustable pallet racking systems and agree with the standards that are laid down by FEM (European Federation of Materials Handling) in Europe and advocated by SEMA (Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association) in the UK.
