Yale launches pedestrian stacker series

The trucks promise to deliver a range of improvements in through-mast visibility and load lifting controls.

The Pedestrian Stacker MS10-16 series supersedes the MS series, and introduces a number of new features including redesigned controls along with a lifting and carrying capacity of up to 1.6 tonnes.

Yale manager for warehouse products, Ron Farr, says: “Our new truck follows the Yale philosophy of designing around the operator’s needs.”

The MS 10-16 series is suitable for businesses operating within smaller facilities where manoeuvring space is limited, with Yale targeting the storage rooms of supermarkets, small scale warehouses and cold stores operating to -30°C, industrial manufacturing, retail operations (such as DIY stores) and assembly operations.

Features include:

• Redesigned steering and operating controls for easy moving and positioning.

• Load lifting and carrying capacity up to 1.6 tonnes.

• Excellent visibility through the mast, which allows the operator to clearly see the load and forks when collecting and depositing loads.

• Proportional lifting and separate precision lifting controls for precise fork placement and for handling delicate loads.

“We believe these capabilities, coupled with a maximum travel speed of 6km/h, ensure this model will be appreciated for its performance, controllability and overall productivity,” adds Ron.

“The Yale MS 10-16 series is engineered to be easy to service while the durable design and low energy consumption keeps the ongoing running costs under control.”

The MS 10-16 series comes options allowing the stacker to be tailored for each individual customer application. These include work-assist accessories, lateral battery extraction, varying fork lengths and widths, key pad access, integrated load backrest and extended warranty options.
