Thermal barcode printer launches at PPMA Total

The printing expert is setting new standards in logistics, trading and industrial production with this powerful mid-range printer. Besides its high printing speed and large storage capacity, the T6000 is distinguished in particular by the integrated on-pitch RFID option. The global launch of the T6000 is scheduled for the end of the month.

The T6000, which is based on the proven architecture of the Auto ID thermal printing range from Printronix, features maximum speed, flexibility and reliability. The integrated on-pitch RFID option opens up new potential applications. It enables RFID labels to be printed and coded with a height of only 0.625 inches (= 15.88 mm), as used, for example, in retailing to speed up processing the movement of goods. The T6000 can also contribute towards optimising the value chain in warehouse management as well as in the medical, healthcare, tourism, event management, automotive and production sectors.

Five times faster, eight times more storage

The T6000 from Printronix Auto ID is equipped with a 3.4 inch colour display and a clearly laid out control panel that allows simple operation and intuitive plug-and-print configuration. The integrated ARM Cortex A9 controller processes data five times faster than previous models. Storage capacity is eight times that of comparable competitor products. The printer is available in two printing widths of 4.1 and 6.6 inches and also impresses with its outstanding print-performance ratio.

Intelligent printhead temperature management ensures optimum printing quality of the T6000, which can be set to print with a resolution of 203 or 300 dpi. The thermal printer offers ten emulations as standard with optional IPDS, Postscript and PDF direct printing. The T6000 comes with PrintNet Enterprise for remote monitoring. Printronix Auto ID ensures 100 percent readable barcodes with the online barcode validator module (ODV), which is available as an additional option. The T6000’s rugged design makes it ideal for use in harsh environments. The T6000 is compatible with the entire printer range of Printronix Auto ID.
