Efficient electric hand pallet truck
Clark has released the electric hand pallet truck WPio12, the firm’s first foray into lithium-ion battery powered models.
Electronic lifting and driving, a low tare weight of 120kg including the battery and a usage period of up to three hours with a fully charged battery (24V 20 AH) are characteristics of the electric hand pallet truck WPio12.
The lithium-ion battery can be recharged from flat in 2.5 hours. Interim charges are possible. With up to 1,000 charge cycles, the maintenance-free battery has almost doubled the service life of block batteries.
The WPio12 (1.2 t capacity) can be used in place of any classic hand pallet truck, e.g. for transporting pallets over short distances, in warehouses, in showrooms or for loading/unloading lorries. Excellent manoeuvrability and compact dimensions make for economical and precise load handling. For example, the hand pallet truck can be optimally transported on a lorry. At 1,390mm, the turning circle has been kept small and the minimal L2 size of 390mm (length including the back of the fork) prevents pallet location losses when transporting the machine on a lorry. Delivery of the new truck will start from the end of the 2nd quarter 2017.
The release follows the launch of the Clark Compact Range for low lift pallet trucks and stackers with a load capacity of 1.0-2.0 tonnes.
Clark has also released the electric stacker PSX16, stackers being more prevalently used in continental Europe.
