Service expansion

Rite-Hite UK is expanding its service business due to considerable demand from customers looking to improve health and safety, productivity and the lifespan of their loading bays, doors and in-plant safety equipment.

Back of house operations are mission critical but not glamorous, and perhaps neglected part of the business. A broken facility door can mean that your vital throughput of orders are held up which could potentially mean late deliveries, lost orders and lost customers. Even more importantly, loading bay areas are dangerous places which can put your workers at risk of injury or even death if careful consideration is not given to making the correct investments in plant and maintenance to keep equipment in full working order.

Matt Giles (pictured), with 25 years’ experience in the loading bay and door industry, has been appointed to service manager and is heading up the drive to ensure that Rite-Hite’s service customers get the best value and best-in-class service for both Rite-Hite and third-party products. The service has been split broadly into Northern and Southern operations with new appointments Kerry Hannelly looking after the north of the UK and Paula Clough-Sale looking after the south.
