Gold RoSPA award
Howard Tenens has been awarded with a Gold RoSPA award by the Royal Society of the Prevention of Accidents for the second year running.
The award was achieved as a result of the progress Howard Tenens has made in respect to improving Health and Safety across the Group.
To achieve the award Howard Tenens had to answer a range of questions, supported with detailed evidence of procedures and practices in place across the Group which includes 20 different locations and 200+ vehicles covering the UK.
Chris Coulson, national health and safety manager at Tenens has introduced and implemented a number of initiatives across all depots and continues to do so. He says: “A lot of hard work and effort has been put in over the last 3 years from all our depots to retain the RoSPA Gold standard. A really pleasing and fantastic result for Tenens.”
Jamie Hartles, logistics director at Howard Tenens adds: “Working towards and subsequently achieving the RoSPA Gold Standard again has continued to drive a change in culture across the business and improved our employee’s perception towards health & safety.”
