RFID-driven system for LOLER compliance

Red Ledge has released an RFID-driven system that cuts the time and cost of meeting Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) for lifting equipment re-certification, traceability and compliance.

Red Ledge LOLER Certification is an automated solution that uses handheld scanning of RFID tags on lifting equipment to maintain an audit trail for the asset. Once captured all LOLER-related information is held on the Red Ledge system for ongoing maintenance and reporting. Red Ledge LOLER can be integrated with mainstream ERP and other enterprise systems.

Pilot users of the Red Ledge system report it is robust and reliable, increases staff productivity and improves reporting accuracy, according to the company.

“For all owners of lifting equipment the penalties for LOLER non-compliance can be severe and the compliance process time-consuming,” says Red Ledge technical director Alan Wilcockson. “Red Ledge LOLER Certification takes the paperwork out of that process, saving users time and money. We believe it will transform the industry.”
