Amazon DC to feature multi-storey car park for delivery vans
The Property group Goodman is building the logistics centre in Bremen for the online retail behemoth.
A facility of around 12,500 sq m and a multi-storey car park are being built on a 38,000 sq m site with construction completion is scheduled for autumn 2019.
The centre will have a multi-storey car park for 277 of Amazon's own delivery vans, in a bid to offer faster access to the company's fleet for more efficient last mile delivery. The building will include 1,200 sq m of office mezzanine and a 3,700 sq m canopy.
