Wireless charging innovator appoints chief sales officer

Magrone has extensive market and industry expertise in the transport and intralogistics sectors. Magrone spent a number of years as head of sales at SICK Vertriebs-GmbH before becoming senior market manager at SICK AG. His most recent role was as managing director of E&K Automation GmbH in Italy.

In his role as CSO, he is responsible for overseeing Wiferion’s strategic development in the field of wireless charging technology, along with the expansion of the company’s domestic and overseas sales activities.

“My goal is to establish Wiferion’s disruptive technology and drive the transition of energy systems as a pioneer in the field of contactless charging solutions,” Magrone said. “Our patented wireless battery charging system facilitates the simple and efficient realisation of automation processes. As such, we’re driving the use of electric mobility in the intralogistics sector.”
