Baker takes refurbished warehouse
Roberts Bakery has agreed a deal for a newly refurbished 60,547 ft2 industrial unit at Winsford Industrial Estate in Cheshire from Manchester based Pitalia Real Estate.

THE BAKER signed a 15 year lease on the facility which sits within a 2.45 acre plot. The property will be used for Roberts biscuit manufacturing division, The Little Treat Bakery and will also provide storage capacity for finished products and raw materials. The quoting rent for the property was £5.95 per ft2. It has eight level access doors and single storey offices.
The property was one of three totalling 250,000 ft2 purchased by Pitalia in December 2022 from Henkel Operations. The acquisition of Units 1 – 3 on Road Fove of the 380-acre Winsford Industrial Estate, for £8 million, saw the Investor partner with Harlex Property to refurbish and reposition Units 1 and 2 with Unit 3 being leased back to Henkel on a five year lease. Unit 2 has been leased by Roberts Bakery.
