NEW TENANT kinetic furniture manufacturer Flexispot – owned by global 3PL business Lecangs LLC – has taken on the 130,726 ft2 building which comes fully fitted and racked – a ‘must have’ feature that the company was searching for in a property for the company’s expansion in the UK.

Flexispot Business Operational Director Richard Tang, said: “Choosing DC2 at Prologis Park Wellingborough West was the natural choice for us. Finding a unit with racking already in place was a ‘must-have’ for us and we’re confident we’ve found the perfect base from which to grow our business further. Our parent company already has a longstanding relationship with Prologis, so we knew that we would be in good hands right from the outset.”

The unit was built in 2020, achieving an EPC A rating, and is Net Zero in operation, in line with the UKGBC framework. It has 15m eaves as well as 13 dock and two level access doors, a 50m yardand  two storey office accommodation stretching to 6,429 ft2. It has 100 car parking and 39 HGV spaces and boasts a power connection of 350KvA.

It was originally let to family-led Northamptonshire warehousing and logistics business Linkline Transport in 2020 on a 10-year lease. The company went into administration  in June this year.

Cushman & Wakefield and Fisher German acted on behalf of Prologis UK.
