Cost-competitive boom conveyors
Diamond Phoenix Automation has partnered with Convey Xpress to make its range of low-cost telescopic boom conveyors available across the UK & Ireland.

DIAMOND PHOENIX Automation managing director Keith Washington, says: “These boom conveyors offer unbeatable value, without compromising on performance or reliability. They are available at 30 to 40% – or possibly even more – below UK market rates.”
At a time when operational efficiency and cost control matter more than ever, telescopic boom conveyors enable significant productivity gains and cost savings. By extending into trailers, vans and containers, they speed up loading and unloading operations, while also reducing manual handling and the risk of bottlenecks in the loading bay.
“With faster vehicle turnaround,” explains Keith Washington, “telescopic boom conveyors enable higher throughput, without the need for additional labour or infrastructure. Whereas handballing goods in or out of a 40ft container can take several people several hours, the same container can be loaded or unloaded by one person in as little as 20 minutes using a boom conveyor.”
The robust Convey Xpress telescopic conveyors are fully CE certified and manufactured to a design proven since 2013, over 3,000 units are in service worldwide. Each machine is backed by a 24-month/4,000-hour warranty and supported by UK-based, 24/7 servicing, with spares held in the UK for a four-hour response time.
Designed with space efficiency in mind, Convey Xpress boom conveyors are compact when retracted, occupying minimal floor space. With a maximum load of 50kg per sq m, the conveyors are engineered for intensive use in demanding environments, such as parcel, e-commerce and retail distribution or third-party logistics operations. Featuring adjustable height to suit a wide range of dock set-ups, the conveyors are adaptable to suit both current and future trailer fleets.
The Convey Xpress boom conveyors have been designed with enhanced safety features including both front- and side-mounted operator controls; fixed roller bosses and safety brushes to avoid finger trapping; and pop-out safety rollers to protect operators in the event of accidental contact.
