Household products wholesaler secures Birmingham midbox

A household products wholesaler has taken Pearl & Coutts’ 49,798 ft2  midbox warehouse in Birmingham a week after  it became vacant as enquiries and  take-up for midbox space in the Midlands grows.

LATEST FIGURES from Avison Young research reported in June by Logistics Matters, note that enquiry data shows that mid-box industrial units in the region continue to grow in demand, accounting for 49% of all enquiries received in Q1 2025, up from a 39% share in Q4 2024.This deal  is a reflection of that with property being successfully let on a new 10 year lease a week after coming vacant.
The self contained property on a 2.15 acre fully fenced site is known as Righton House and is located at the entrance to Holford Industrial Park. It comprises a c. 41,195 ft2 warehouse with  5,644 ft2 of two-storey office space and a dedicated loading bay of 2,959 ft2. It has 5.76m eaves as well as six level access doroos under a loading canopy, and LED lighting throughout.
The EPC C rated property was being marketed on a quoting rent of £8.50 per ft with the landlords willing to undertake a full refurbishment for any incoming tenant.
