Partnership enhances outdoor loading

THIS COLLABORATION allows businesses to specify a Thorworld loading platform or dock for outdoor use, while also ensuring employee protection from the elements with a HTS TENTIQ canopy. The partnership has already been successfully implemented at several installations.

The two companies first identified their shared potential when they met on-site for a mutual customer project. Recognising the benefits of a coordinated approach, they have now formalised the partnership to offer a comprehensive, streamlined service.

While an indoor loading bay is often preferred, cost and logistical constraints can make it unfeasible – but customers often still prefer some form of overhead protection for their employees. By involving both Thorworld and HTS TENTIQ from the outset, customers receive a fully integrated proposal tailored to site conditions, avoiding potential design clashes that could otherwise require costly redesigns.

Typically, the canopy is installed first due to its larger frame, with Thorworld’s modular loading platforms then fitted inside.

Technical teams of the two companies to offer a single drawing, in which the HTS TENTIQ canopy designs are overlaid onto Thorworld CAD models, providing customers with a clear visual representation of the final installation before work begins.
