JSP Hauliers has invested £300,000 in a move to a new 1.8-acre site in Leigh, near Manchester which benefits from high-spec warehousing and extensive storage facilities.

THE FIRM has accelerated its expansion a year after joining the Pallet-Track network due to a major increase in the amount of palletised freight it now handles.

It has already created three new jobs following the relocation and plans to recruit more forklift truck and HGV drivers as it continues to grow.

The new site benefits from racked warehousing for 300 pallets and a 1.4-acre yard with outdoor storage and parking for more than 50 trucks.

The new location places JSP Hauliers closer to Pallet-Track’s northern hub in Ashton-in-Makerfield, where freight is sorted for onwards delivery, and at the heart of the area’s manufacturing and engineering businesses.
