Panattoni submits plans for latest Milton Keynes warehouse

Developer Panattoni has submitted a planning application for its latest speculative warehouse scheme Panattoni Milton Keynes 100.

THE MOVE comes circa 16 weeks after the 5-acre site on Yeomans Drive was acquired from global adhesive tape manufacturer owner-occupier Tesa UK as reported in Logistics Matters in March this year.

The plans propose the demolition of the former Tesa building and development of a brand new a 94,025 ft2 logistics facility with 12.5m eaves, , nine dock and two level-access doors, served by a 35m yard with 21 HGV spaces.

The design includes 8,127 ft2 of mezzanine office space, 105 car parking bays, 22 EV charging points, rainwater harvesting and roof mounted solar PV. It will be developed target BREEAM “Outstanding” and EPC A credentials and built to net-zero carbon construction.

The facility will have a 750 kVA power supply. The warehouse is scheduled for completion in Q3 2026.

IN addition the developer has completed the construction of Panattoni Park Milton Keynes, a two-unit speculative scheme totalling 794,807 ft2 at Junction 14 of the M1 comprising Unit MK 450 (450,479 ft2) and Unit MK 345(344,328 ft2). Both offer 18m eaves, 50 kN/m² floor loading, and 55-metre service yards. MK 450 includes 40 dock and two level access doors, and 4 MVA of power, while MK 345 offers 28 dock and two level access doors, and 2.7 MVA of power.

Both units have been constructed to net-zero carbon standards and have achieved BREEAM Outstanding certification and EPC A ratings. Features include LED lighting, low-carbon concrete, and electric vehicle-ready infrastructure.

Joint letting agents on MK100 are Savills TDB Real Estate and Incore, while Savills , Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE are advising on Panattoni Park Milton Keynes.
