Record rent for Northwest warehouse
A new big box record rent of has been achieved for the Northwest, with a letting of a 124,980 ft2 warehouse space in Warrington.

ACCORDING TO the latest research from industrial and logistics specialist property agency B8RE the letting of two units at investor developer Indurent’s Trident Business Park, Warrington to insulating glazing unit manufacturer Regency Glass at £12.27 per ft2 set a new record rent for the region.
The manufacturer took a 15-year lease on the two warehouses which were built to achieve BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating.
Rooftop solar PV and smart LED lighting are included on the units as standard, with the newly delivered warehousing also including c.5,400 ft2 of operationally net zero office space to support a range of administrative and finance roles.
CBRE acted for Indurent, while Knight Frank acted for Regency Glass in the transaction which was reported in Logistics Matters in June.
