Airport Business Park to expand
Plans have been submitted to expand Airport Business Park Southend by a further circa.71,000 ft2 to provide sustainable space for SMEs.

THE PROPOSALS have been put forward by HBD, part of Henry Boot, for ten units ranging between 4,459 ft2 and 9,872 ft2 plus single detached unit of 16,451 ft2.
a has submitted a planning application for a further 70,911sq ft at Airport Business Park Southend as it creates sustainable space for SMEs.
Each of the ten units on the 70,911 ft scheme will be sustainable, targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating. Subject to planning the scheme will start construction next summer.
Airport Business Park Southend (ABPS) is a partnership between HBD and Southend City Council. These new proposals follow the success of The Quad, a 12-unit scheme within the 62-acre development which is fully occupied.
HBD has now completed a total of 355,550 ft2 at the Southend development. A further 290,000 ft2 is still to be brought forward.
