Yusen secures Merseyside warehouse
Yusen Logistics has secured a lease on investor Clarion Partner’s Widnes54 warehouse in Merseyside.

THE PROPERTY is one of three at Gorsey Point acquired from Mirastar two years ago for circa.£90 million, and the only one to remain vacant since. The two other properties of 395,000 ft2 and 258,500 ft2 were let to NHS Supply Chian and Kammac respectively.
Widnes54 totals 54,456 ft2 and has 10m eaves as well as three dock and two level access doors served by a 50m yard. It has 50kn/m2 floor loading, 200 MvA of power and two storey Grade A offices.
On the acquisition of the scheme Clarion was advised by Gerald Eve and Goodwin Procter while Mirastar was advised by DTRE, CBRE, Clifford Chance, and Osborne Clarke.
In July this year Yusen Logistics UK applied to operate 32 HGVs and 25 trailers from the site
Joint letting agents for Widnes54 were B8RE and DTRE.
