THE SPECULATIVE development, which has achieved a BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A+ rating, was built on a brownfield site and consists of a 312,316 ft2 warehouse with 18m eaves as wel as 32 dock and three level access doors served by a 50m yard with up to 1MvA of power supply. It has 19,499 ft2 of two storey grade A office space as well as a hub office and separate gatehouse.
According to a report submitted to the Salford Council by Glencar, Logicor’s partner contractor for Bolt330, the project has generated over £2.2m in measurable value through direct local employment, apprenticeships and partnerships with local organisations such as Salford Employ and Build Salford.
Logicor has worked closely with Salford City Council to ensure Bolt330, which was an unused brownfield site, benefits the local community economically and contributes to climate resilience.
The well-being of those who will work on the campus has been at the centre of Bolt330’s design, as seen in the provision of an outdoor gym, 60 cycle spaces and biodiverse landscaping.
Bolt330 is Logicor’s latest asset to highlight the business’s commitment to developing best-in-class logistics sites across Europe, following the launch of its largest ever development in the UK, an 800,000 sq ft site in Daventry and its 508,003 sq ft site in Derby earlier this year.
Joint agents on the scheme are Knight Frank, B8 Real Estate and CPP.
