South Staffordshire industrial and logistics scheme get green light
Developer Indurent has secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a 655,000 ft2 industrial and logistics development at Dunston in South Staffordshire adjoining Junction 13 of the M6 motorway.

THE DEVELOPMENT will be delivered across two phases, with Phase 1 scheduled for completion in 2028 and Phase 2 in 2030. Once fully operational, the scheme has the potential to support the creation of approximately 880 jobs in the local area.
A masterplan for the green field 43.49 acre site envisages six units up to 190,000 ft2 with eaves height between 10 – 15m built to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard.
In its consultation documents Indurent noted that the scheme could provide a significant economic boost to the local economy, with Gross Value Added of circa £46.4 a year as well as circ. £1.8 million a year in business rates.
