In shop and locker services provider secures Peterborough depot
A market leader in shop & locker services sector of the e-commerce distribution network has consolidated into a single new depot in Peterborough.

PROPERTY AGENCY Eddisons secured the new logistics tenant for modern, 27,639 ft2 warehouse in Peterborough’s most established industrial trading area by way of lease assignment for two-man delivery operator Breezemount which announced in march this year that it was closing its home delivery operations..
The warehouse premises on 1-4 Newark East, Newark Road, in the city’s Eastern Industry area will see the new tenant relocate from two other units on a different site in the city to consolidate its operations in one, central Peterborough hub.
The clear span warehouse is less than 10 years old and has an energy performance rating of ‘A’ and EV charging provision in the yard. It has 26,629 ft2 of warehouse space with 8m eaves and four loading doors. It also has 1,010 ft2 of two storey offices together with WC and kitchen facilities; with a further single storey tea point/canteen and warehouse office plus WC’s within the warehouse area.
The passing rent is £179,500 a year equivalent to £6.49 per ft2. The property was available to let by way of an assignment or subletting of the existing lease, which is for a term of 15 years expiring on12th November 2032. There is a tenant only break option on 13th November 2027 and a rent review due at the same date.
