Whistl Fulfilment secures new Wellingborough depot
3PL Whistl has taken a 335,000 ft2 warehouse in Wellingborough as part of a strategic move to support further growth.

IT HAS secured Sqrrl Solutions’ property at Prologis Park to support the growth of an existing customer, a household name in the consumer electronics sector.
The property has capacity for 72,500 pallets, and includes three level access doors, 32 dock doors, four Euro dock doors, and space for 80 HGV lorries. It has been built to achieve BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating.
Whistl Fulfilment currently operates six sites across the UK with 1.5 million ft2 of dedicated multi-channel fulfilment space provided for over 50 brands and retailers. The Whistl Group diversified from mail and parcels into fulfilment eight years ago.
Earlier this year Whistl opened a £7.5 million 160,000 ft2 multi level facility in Lutterworth handling some 250,000 pick and pack items per week.
The company announced in April that it was selected to provide Tesco F&F Online with fulfilment, delivery and returns management services to enable it to return to online retailing after a seven-year absence.
