Construction start for London urban sheds scheme
Specialist logistics developer Padrock has started construction on a new 210,000 ft2 urban multi-let industrial (MLI) and logistics development in Leyton, East London.

THE £130 MILLION scheme known as Leyton Logistics Hub will comprise 11 units ranging from 6,000 ft2 to 36,000 ft2 all of which will target BREEAM Outstanding and an EPC A ratings
Padrock has appointed Glencar Construction to build the development, and practical completion is expected in mid-2026.
Padrock partner, Mark Symonds, said: “Leyton Logistics Hub is a significant development for Padrock as it further reinforces our expertise at identifying, securing and delivering strategically located sites which serve London.
“We are experiencing strong occupier interest and, now that work is underway, we are entering into advanced negotiations with a number of parties who we hope to announce in due course.”
