EXCLUSIVE: ID Logistics secures lease on Panattoni warehouse in Kent
ID Logistics has secured its third warehouse facility in the UK with the leasing of Panattoni’s S440 facility in Sittingbourne, Kent to fulfil a new e-commerce contract.

THE COMPANY said that the circa. 440,000 ft2 facility will support operations for a ‘major e-commerce customer’. In May Logistics Matters reported that ID Logistics secured a contract with Amazon which it fulfils from a 550,000 ft2 plus warehouse in Sherburn-in-Elmet in Yorkshire.
The new facility in Kent, ID Logistics’ third in the UK, is located at developer Panattoni’s Panattoni Park Sittingbourne scheme, some 4 miles from Junction 5 of the M2 motorway.
S440 total 440,167 ft2 with 411,737 ft2 of warehouse space with 15m eaves as well as 40dock and four level access doors served by a 50m yard which has 20 trailer parking spaces.
The property has 28,119 ft2 of Grade A two storey offices and was built to target BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating. It has 15% roof lights and an 50kn/m2 floor loading.
