Northwest warehouse vacancy hits ten year high
Vacancy rates for warehouse space in the Northwest has hit a ten year high according to the latest research from DTRE.

THE NORTHWEST industrial vacancy rate has risen from the lowest in the country to align with the national average at 5.4% suggested the research. “This,” it said, “marks a 10-year high and up from a low base of 2% in 2022. However, it remains well below the previous peak of 9.5% in 2012.”
Vacancy rates, vary significantly across size bands, with units over 500,000 ft2 only having a 2.5% vacancy to 7.2% for mid-box units between 25,000 and 50,000 ft2.
Big box warehouses over 500,000 ft2 include the recently highlighted Logistics Matters Shed of the Month, X-doc 549 being marketed by Savills and Cushman & Wakefield.
