Data centre power solution provider snaps up Northwest logistics base
Power solution provider AVK SEG (AVK), has taken Fieldstone Developments’ Haydock 140 warehouse unit in on the Haydock Industrial estate in St Helens in the Northwest.

THE COMPANY has secured the 138,340 ft2 building on a 15 year lease at a headline rent of £12.50 per ft2. The facility on a 6.2-acre site boasts a 117,845 acre warehouse with 15m eaves as well as 10 dock and three level access doors served by a 50m yard with 29 HGV parking spaces. It has 18,924 ft2 of three storey office space as well as a separate gatehouse and welfare offices.
B8RE advised Fieldstone Developments from initial site acquisition through to design development, construction delivery and the successful letting to AVK during the build programme. Colliers was joint letting agent.
Fieldstone Developments is a joint venture between Barnfield Construction and a private individual with funding provided by Together Money.
Strategically located at Junction 23 of the M6 motorway, Haydock 140 forms part of the Haydock Green industrial and logistics scheme. The unit sits prominently at the front of the scheme, adjacent to a newly completed 377,000 ft2 distribution facility pre-let to healthcare logistics specialist Movianto, which was also developed by the same partnership.
AVK was unrepresented in the transaction.
