Developer plots 600,000 ft2  plus logistics scheme in Leicestershire

Developer Wilson Bowden is proposing a 600,000 ft2 plus industrial and logistics scheme on a site near Ellistown in Leicestershire, East Midlands.

THE SCHEME on  a 39.5 acre greenfield site opposite the Pall-Ex Logistics facility on Ellistown Terrace Road, is set to comprise two warehouses totalling 643,000 ft2.

The developer has submitted and Environmental Impact Assessment prior to  the submission of outline planning later this year.

The developer  has another scheme in Leicestershire a 12.9 acre site with planning for up to 219,000 ft2 at Wigston, which it is marketing on a design and build basis. Wilson Bowden is also the developer behind Infinity Park Derby. Wilson Bowden Developments is the commercial development arm of housebuilder Barratt Redrow.
