3PL secures Derby warehouse
3PL Romac Logistics has taken a lease on a warehouse at BentallGreenOak and its development partner, Equation Properties’ Horizon 29 industrial and logistics scheme near Bolsover, Derbyshire, East Midlands.

THE COMPANY has taken Unit 8, a 252,055 ft2 unit on the £41 million two-unit second phase of the scheme which reached practical completion in September last year.
McLaren (Midlands and North) was awarded the construction contract for the BREEAM Excellent and EPC A rated buildings Unit 7 and Unit 8 (251,981 ft2 and 252,055 ft2 respectively), with each including a two-storey office space with associated mechanical and electrical installations. The warehouses space has 15m eaves, 19 dock (of which 4 are Euro dock) and three level access doors and a transport office served by a 50m yard.
Sustainable features include solar PVs, air source heat pumps, enhanced cladding, responsibly sourced sustainable materials, LED lighting, electric vehicle charging points, and bird and bat boxes.
BGO and Equation acquired the 80-acre site located adjacent to Junction 29A of the M1 and Markham Vale in 2022 for £39.9 million.
