THE COMPANY widely tipped as Amazon has secured a 10 year lease on C200 at developer Panattoni’s Panattoni Park Crawley scheme off Fleming Way in Crawley.
The BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+ Rated property totalling 200,093 ft2 was originally developed as two units, with the flexibility to combine into a single facility to meet large-scale occupier demand. It has 181,747 ft2 of warehouse space with 15m eaves and 19 dock and three level access doors served by a 50m yard with parking for 35 HGVs. It has 18,345 ft2 of core and mezzanine office space
The scheme also incorporates roof-mounted solar PV and other sustainability features aligned with occupiers’ operational and decarbonisation requirements. It is located five minutes from Gatwick Airport and Junction 10 of the M23motorway.
The transaction is the largest Grade A logistics letting in the South East this year and marks the full occupation of the scheme, which was delivered speculatively in one of the UK’s most supply-constrained logistics corridors.
Panattoni South East, Development Director David McGougan, said: “Securing this letting demonstrates the continued strength of the market for well-located, future-ready space. We are pleased to have let the unit following the recent completion of the facility and continue to see space occupied by the e-commerce sector.”
Joint letting agents were Savills, Hollis Hockley and JLL.
