We have a raft of experts locked and loaded to share insights at the upcoming Tomorrow’s Warehouse event on May 14 at Coventry’s CBS Arena.

LET’S TAKE a look at those speakers and share a little about where they are coming from and how they can help you with your operations. They can help you deal with a great many of your warehousing and logistics challenges.

Operations Theatre – Session 1

Adrian Ancliff (Head of Operations, Bilstein Group UK)

With a strong background in lean, Adrian places great emphasis on continuous improvement and keeping warehouse automation operating at a high level of effectiveness.

Miroslaw Zarembski (Director of Solutions Design, DSV)

Miroslaw will share real-world perspectives on when automation delivers genuine value and how to avoid costly mis-specification by asking the right questions early.

Obinna Njoku (Head of Automation, HellermannTyton)

Obinna focuses on ROI as the true finish line exploring how to move automated warehousing from promise to measurable profit.

Kevin Price (Logistics Consultant, Dematic)

“Many organisations still take a very traditional view of automation ROI,” says Kevin Price. “They compare capital cost to direct operating expense and stop there. But automation affects indirect operation costs, footprint, energy, throughput, accuracy, and long-term operating performance. If you’re not looking at all of that, you’re not really calculating ROI.”

Hilton Campbell (UK Managing Director, Interroll)

Hilton Campbell is the Managing Director of Interroll, overseeing operations across the UK and Ireland. He is also the President of AMHSA, the Automated Materials Handling and System Association, appointed in April of 2025. Hilton is passionate about supporting customers with their material handling needs, regardless of scale. He is a vocal advocate for embracing technological evolution, referencing Industry 4.0 and the emerging Industry 5.0, which prioritises wellbeing over welfare.

Chris Mackie (Partner, Logistics Reply)

Chris has implemented WMS into highly automated warehouses for many years, and can speak to the real relationship between WMS and WCS or WES, the integration reality, go live risk, vendor coordination, and what actually determines success once the automation is installed. His earliest project was the first Ocado site back in 2002, so he has seen how this space has evolved from the beginning.

Sacha Williams (Country Manager UK, Consafe Logistics)

Sacha Williams brings experience from previous roles at Manhattan Associates, MetaPack Group, Isobar and Convergys, with a robust skill set that includes E-commerce, Business Development, Enterprise Software, New Business Development, Solution Selling and more.

Simon Ratcliffe (Retail Logistics Leader)

Simon is a very experienced leader in retail logistics, having worked for The White Company, Debenhams, Fat Face and more and he will present on how logistics professionals need to get to grips with digital twins.

David Bailey (Director of Consumer Products in the UK, Arvato)

The Arvato leader will share insights on selection and implementation of automated systems, including how to integrate Arvato’s WMS with best-of-breed automated solutions.

Deborah Bethell (Practice Director Warehousing UK&I, Westernacher)

Deborah has guided organisations through complex transformations, optimised operational processes, and designed scalable, efficient warehouse management systems aligned with business goals. Her deep technical knowledge, combined with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, enables her to deliver solutions that drive performance, accuracy, and long-term value.

Matthias Platzer (Practice Transportation UK&I, Westernacher)

Matthias has 13+ years of experience, assesses customer and market requirements and supports clients on their digitisation journey to achieve operational excellence in supply chain networks. For optimal support, he offers a combination of business process design and the selection of appropriate IT tools.

Simon Allen (Managing Director, Breathe Technologies)

Simon is an accomplished manager and controls engineer with more than 25 years’ experience in the logistics automation industry, with a proven track record in managing engineering realisation and development teams to deliver large scale complex automation projects.

Carrie Tallett (Senior Product Manager, Forterro)

Carrie Tallett leads the strategic development of ERP and WMS solutions designed for the needs of growing businesses in wholesale, distribution, retail, and manufacturing. With over a decade of experience across product management, customer success, and operational strategy, Carrie brings a practical and customer-centric lens to digital transformation. James Percival (Business Development Manager, TGW Logistics)

Mike has established a reputation for design quality, value generation and client experience which has allowed him to design and deliver a multitude of developments across the UK.

Jo Russell (Planning Director, Stoford)

Jo will explore how developers can support occupiers by identifying the best locations for their needs. Jo will also highlight the importance of connectivity and labour supply in ensuring sites not only work on day one, but remain viable for occupiers over the long term.

Jake joined Tritax Big Box Developments in 2022 and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 5 years’ experience in the commercial property market.
