AO.com secures Cheshire warehouse for stock storage
Online electrical good retailer AO.com has secured a 320,000 ft2 plus warehouse for stock storage near Stoke-on-Trent.

THE COMPANY has taken Singaporean ESR Group subsidiary ESR Europe’s Alsager 325 a 324,838 ft2 warehouse on Lawton Road, Alsager, Stoke-on-Trent on a five-year lease.
The site will be used to store excess stock, helping AO maintain strong product availability and continue delivering next day service to customers. Deliveries will continue to operate from AO’s main delivery hub in Crewe.
AO.com said: “Located on Lawton Road with direct access to Junctions 16 and 17 of the M6 motorway, the warehouse is well positioned to support AO’s operations across the North West and beyond. The facility includes a large-scale warehouse alongside integrated office space, providing a high-quality environment to support AO’s logistics operations.
The facility comprises a 265,9790 ft2 warehouse with 33,890 ft2 mezzanine space as well as 10.2m eaves and 11 dock and eight level access doors. It has 360 degree circulation and 23,500 ft2 of integrated office space
A).com’s David Ashwell said: “This facility at Alsager will play an important role in supporting AO.com’s continued growth strategy. The building’s scale and excellent motorway access make it a strong operational fit with our North West warehouse space, as we continue to optimise our logistics network.”
The facility was formerly occupied by bathroom products firm Geberit, which relocated in late 2025.
